It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Hobbs (West Chester, Iowa), born in Washington, Iowa, who passed away on January 29, 2018, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Niffenegger and Beatrice Niffenegger (Hough); and her son Bill. She is survived by: her husband Dean of West Chester; her daughter Lori Hanshaw (Mike) of Springville, IA; her daughter-in-law Kim Hobbs of Wellman; her children, Kayla Gingerich (Harlan) and Colton Hobbs; her brother Gail Niffenegger (Sharon) of Washington; and also Derek Hanshaw of Kylie Hanshaw.
