She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennett Cecil and Wilda Lorene Hoffman Downey; her husband James L. "Jim" Baughman; her granddaughter Katie Carver; her son-in-law Jim Lough; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Lou Shumate, Norma Lee Harl and Sharon Bruns Augspurger.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Lough of Bloomfield, Connie Baughman of Mesa, Kyle Baughman (Gayla) of Cumming, Robin Carver (Alvin) of Cortez and Sandi Pierce (Denny) of Mesa, Arizona; her grandchildren, Jason Lough (Bridgette), Blake Lough (Leslie), Tyler Baughman, Kallie Baughman, Maggie Baughman, Jared Carver (Ashley), Cassie Sturdevant (Matt), Callie Kop (Bryan), Wesley Pierce (Lucy), Abbie Pierce and Walon Pierce; her siblings, Betty Kline (LaVern) of Pulaski, Iowa and Charles Downey (Betty) of Wayzata, Minnesota; and her siblings-in-law, Marlene Hayes of Bourbonnais, Illinois and Mike Baughman (Debbie) of Pulaski, Iowa. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
