With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine White (West Des Moines, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on February 2, 2019 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Smedes and Wayne Smedes; her children, Bryan (Angie) of Beaverton, OR, Paul (Gail) of Ventura, CA, David (Meri) of Naperville, IL and Peggy Krueger (Nick); her grandchildren, Kaylee, Karina White, Paris White, Drew (Alyssa), Tyler Smith, Griffin, Tori White, Will, Charlie and Jack Krueger; her great grandchild Genevieve; her sister Mary Ann Turner of San Jose, CA; her husband Jim; and her sister Peggy Jester. She was also cherished by three sons and a daughter.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Association and the Des Moines Art Center would be appreciated.
