He is survived by: his former wife Sarah Black; his brothers, Chris, Brian, Joel and Mike; and his son John Magruder. He is also survived by fathers and sons.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (7075 Ashworth Rd, West Des Moines, IA 50266). A Mass was held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery.
