It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothea Van Blaricom (West Des Moines, Iowa), born in Elkhart, Iowa, who passed away on January 7, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Childs and Zelda Shaffer Childs; and her sister Vera Hoffman. She is survived by: her children, Phillip Van Blaricom (Janice) of Deltona, FL and Ginger Doumas of Ankeny; and her brother John E. Childs (Dorothy). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
