She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Childs and Zelda Shaffer Childs; and her sister Vera Hoffman. She is survived by: her children, Phillip Van Blaricom (Janice) of Deltona, FL and Ginger Doumas of Ankeny; and her brother John E. Childs (Dorothy). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
