He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Niehaus and Jeanne Niehaus (Fox); his parents-in-law, Edward Culliton and Beatrice Culliton; and his niece Mary Kate Zittergruen.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his sons, Thomas (Joby) of Nashville, TN and Michael of Des Moines, IA; and his sisters, Sandra Rose and Sherry Engelen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
