He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Morhardt and Arlie Morhardt (Kantlhener). He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sons, Bryan (Kellie), Michael (Crystal) and Tom (Megan); his grandchildren, Richard (Emily), Matthew (Madeline), Nathan, Christian, Grace, Emily (Bryant) and Leah; his sister-in-law Beth Manning (Gerald); and his nieces, Amy and Allyson. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Windsor United Methodist Church (6222 University Ave, Des Moines, IA 50311).
