She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McLaughlin and Ann McLaughlin; and her brother Thomas McLaughlin (Bud). She is survived by: her significant other Bernard "Bud" Kirke; her children, Michael Kirke (Linda) of Naperville, IL, Thomas Kirke, Carolyn Kirke Pulles (Tom) of Plymouth, MN and John Kirke (Beth) of Greenwood Village, CO; and her sister Sheila Watrous of Denver, CO. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Vincent de Paul of Des Moines, St. Augustin's Parish Des Moines, or Dowling Catholic High School.
