He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Valdez Sr. and Guadalupe Valdez (Sapien); and his siblings, Freddy, Eula, Emily, Esperanza, Aurora, Joseph, Louise and John.

He is survived by: his siblings, Manuel Jr., Darrell Valdez (Benita) and Frances Gallardo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family for a future designation.
