With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Josey Potter (Urbandale, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 12, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Josey's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Josey's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jacqueline Fligor and Bill Whitt. He is survived by: his parents, Leesa Whitt-Potter and Rick Potter; his brother Jarren (Elle Wignall); and his grandparents, Lou and William Crabtree. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory (8201 Hickman Rd, Urbandale, IA 50322). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
One of Josey's many career accomplishments included receiving the prestigious Service Excellence Award for his commitment and contributions to his team.
