He is survived by: his spouse Diane Linn; his children, Leon Freeman Jr (Sandy), Kelli Thomas (Jon), Jennifer Wilson (Marques) and Emily Lauver (Sean); his grandchildren, Parker, Elise, Marques, Samuel, Annie, Ben, Jacob and Ellie; his siblings, Guy Freeman (Carleen) and Helen Goodell (Gary); and his sister-in-law Carol Freeman. He is also survived by four brothers and one sister.
