We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2024, at the age of 84, Lorna Gay Burgeson of West Des Moines, Iowa, born in Iowa City, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lorna Gay Burgeson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Dr. David Endersby and Lois Endersby; her husband Rodney Burgeson (Peterson); and her granddaughter Kathryn Mae Mills. She is survived by : her children, Dan Burgeson (Jill) and Robyn Mills (Bret); her grandchildren, Myles Burgeson (Sinsiea), Brooklyn Burgeson (Lucus Koenig), Elizabeth Mills (Colton Jensen) and Andrew Mills (Taylor Vos); her great grandchildren, Evan and Callen Burgeson; and her siblings, Dick Endersby (Linda) and Elizabeth Urbanos (Dennis). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and so many friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Warner Funeral Home-Spencer (225 W 3rd St, Spencer, IA 51301). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at the Oakland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Sioux Rapids Theatre Museum or to the family to be used to honor her at a later time.
