With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorraine Alta Rankin (West Des Moines, Iowa), born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on July 18, 2018 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Marvin; her children, Pat Sperry (Mike), Jim Rankin (Terri), Tom Rankin (Sandi) and Jean Walkup (David); her grandchildren, Eric, Allison, Jordan, Mitchell, Nathan, Kyle, Ryan, Paige, Sam, Matthew, Holly and Carly; and her great grandchildren, Neil, Harvey and Scarlett.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the John Stoddard Cancer Center, Des Moines, IA.
