She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard A. Thomas and Laura Thomas; her brothers, Howard and Harry; and her granddaughter Courtney.

She is survived by: her husband Walter George; and her children, Tom (Karen) of Windsor Heights, Joanne Craig (Robert) of Lake Geneva and John (Nyla) of Reeds Springs, Missouri. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
