With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Jean Nordquist (West Des Moines, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 25, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Nest and Leo Van Nest; her husband Darwin; and her sister Elaine Temper. She is survived by: her children, Duane Nordquist (Eileen), Kay Klemp (Steve) and Susan Duve (Dan); her grandchildren, David Nordquist (Cheyenne), Heather Schnathorst (Caleb), Holly Smith (Aaron), Caitlin, Grace Nordquist, Danny Nordquist, Cali Duve (Kiel Reynolds), Lexi Duve and DJ Duve; her great grandchildren, Lorelei Nordquist, Josephine Nordquist, Edith Ina Nordquist, Elias Dominguez, Ian Dominguez, Gideon Schnathorst, Kamil Krater and Arlen Krater; her sisters, Nancy Fournier and Lois Weismantle (John Grundhauser); and her brother-in-law Bob Temper. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
