It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Rice-Baker (West Des Moines, Iowa), born in Jefferson, Iowa, who passed away on March 7, 2019, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Buddy Mentzer and Margaret Mentzer (McCollum); her daughter Pammey; and her siblings, George Mentzer and John Mentzer.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Baker; her children, Doug Rice, Tammy Weis (Dan) and Rod Rice; her stepsons, Denver (Julie) and David Baker; her grandchildren, Lynette Jacobs (Tom), Ashley Hall (Zach), Amanda Rice (Andrew Shepherd), Kevin Weis, Mikaela Baker, Jana Baker, Justin Griffey (Darcy), Tyler Sciarrotta, Haley Ackelson, Tori Jacobs, Jeremiah Medina, Ollie Shepherd, Ian Hall, Kolton Griffey and Hunter Rosewall; and her siblings, Jerry Mentzer (Mary Jo), Janice Runyan, Peggy Cunningham (Eldon), Mike Mentzer (Shelly Thornton), Don Mentzer (Pam), Bill Mentzer (Donna) and Linda Hurley (Pat).
