He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond and Joan (Crist); his stepmother Dottie; his sister Janet Pauley; and his niece Grace Ohrtman.
He is survived by: his wife Kay; and his siblings, Gail Hudash-Wadley of Iowa City, Ray Hudash, Jr. (Julie) of California and Ron Hudash (Tracy) of Florida. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the American Heart Association.
