He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackson Henderson and Edith Henderson (Baayen); and his sister Madelyn Israel. He is survived by: his wife Margaret I. Foster; and his children, Cynthia Torrance of DesMoines, Steven Henderson (Sue) of Durant, Janelle Theis (Kevin) of Waverly and Cheryl Beatty (Robert) of Winthrop. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church, Stead Family Children's Hospital or the Wilton Retirement Community.
