It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy B. Hoeness of Winterset, Iowa, born in Dallas, Iowa, who passed away on October 9, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lester Stine and Berneice Hermon Stine (Judy); her husband Dean Hoeness; and her sister Dixie Mayfield of Grapeland, Texas.. She is survived by : her children, Dana Hoeness of Winterset, Deena Hoeness of Winterset and Darin Hoeness (Lucia) of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Cody McDonald, Jared McDonald (Tara), Mariah Roberts (Chris), Riley McDonald, Kailee Nihart (Zach), Reed Hoeness (Madison) and Cole Hoeness; and her great grandchildren, Jaden, Peyton McDonald, Sawyer, Charla McDonald, Harper, Henry, Halle Roberts, Zoe and Lane Nihart.

Memorials may be directed to Deena Hoeness (717 N 6th Ave. Circle Winterset, IA 50273) for the family for a later designation.
