She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sauer and Carolina Sauer (Wagg); her husband Claude Grout; and her siblings, Ernest Raymond Sauer and Wilma Fox.
She is survived by: her daughters, Claudia Royal (Dennis) of Winterset and Bonnie Caldwell (Gordon) of North Port, FL; her brother-in-law Jack Fox of Ellis, KS; her grandchildren, Lindsey Royal, Elliott Caldwell, Drew Caldwell and Erin Caldwell; her stepgrandson Allen Royal; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Natashua Kufchak, Ryan Royal and Kyle Royal; and her great great grandchild Alex Kufchak.
