He was predeceased by : his parents, Lelah Hochstetler (Russell) and Paul Hochstetler; and his former life partner Sharon "Kaye" Hochstetler. He is survived by : his wife Blossom of Winterset; his children, Russell Hochstetler (Janis) of Winterset and Susan Aman (Ahsan) of Iowa City; his siblings, Charles Hochstetler (Karen) of Winterset and Betty Hochstetler (Jim Gogerty) of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Tristan of Iowa City, Deven Aman of Iowa City and Moses Hochstetler of Winterset; his stepsons, Bradley Wyckoff of Clive and Jeffrey Wyckoff of Japan; and his stepgrandchildren, Colton Wyckoff of Scottsdale, AZ, Genevieve Wyckoff of Phoenix, AZ and Miku Tiana Wyckoff of Japan. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, and extended family.
Memorials may be donated to the Winterset Parks and Recreation Department or to the Madison County Extension and Outreach with a designation to the "Madison Co. 4-H – Jim Hochstetler Memorial".
