He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Wayne McFarland and Frances Aleen Smith McFarland; his wife Ruth McFarland; his brothers, Jack, Douglas, Donald, Larry and Roger; his sisters-in-law, Dorothy McFarland, Clara Ann McFarland and Niada McFarland; his granddaughter Jani McFarland Morrish; and his great grandchild Charles Phillip Hornback.
He is survived by : his friend Jim; his children, Cinda McFarland Long (David), James McFarland (Oy), Scott McFarland (Mary Lou), Jo McFarland Runnells (Rich), Melissa McFarland Jaeger (Doug) and Pat McFarland (Kathy Cross); his siblings, Linda McFarland Green (Harry) and David McFarland (Joy); and his sisters-in-law, June McFarland and Marie McFarland.
