It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Akers (Winterset, Iowa), who passed away on February 21, 2018, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Jessie; her parents, Rossetta Houseman and Bob Houseman; her brother Marty Houseman; and also Earbie Lee Akers.
She is survived by: her son Raymond; her grandson Alexander England; her siblings, Allen Akers (Patty), Annette Dillinger (Bill), Connie Baker (Dave), Gene Akers, Rick Houseman (Michelle), Nick Houseman (Linda) and LuAnn Goodell; her friend Glenn York; and also Nick. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
