He was loved and cherished by many people including : his father Norman Koons; his wife Roxanne; his sons, Justin Koons (Holly) of Van Meter and Brian Koons (Lindsay) of Earlham; his grandchildren, Dakota, Hunter, Blade, Ryder, Chloe, Lyla and Jadyn Koons; and his siblings, Randy Koons (Judy) of St. Charles, IA, Debbie Sheldahl (Steve) of Peru, IA and Beth Schurman of Mena, AR. He was also cherished by grandkids, his promotion to "Papa".
