She was predeceased by : her parents, Donald "Pat" and Collette Maloney; and her brother Michael. She is survived by : her husband Peter Tarpey; her children, Megan and Michael; her siblings, Barbara Graham, Kathy Dean, Peggy Klein and Jim Maloney; her stepmother Nancy Maloney; her grandsons, Max and Nick; and also, Jennifer Kaufmann and Paul Tarpey.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, a cause Mary deeply cared about as a breast cancer survivor herself.
