He was predeceased by: his parents, Vodra Myers and Bernice Myers (Vance); his former wife Betty Lou Van Gilder; and his sister Verda Davis. He is survived by: his spouses, Betty Lou Van Gilder and LaVonne Myers of Winterset; and his children, Sharon Didonato (Rick) of Waukee, Kathy Myers of Des Moines and Nancy Graham (Michael) of Des Moines. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
