She was predeceased by : her parents, Anjean Chesnut (Nazett) and Dr. Paul Chesnut; and her brother-in-law Eric Hollen. She is survived by : her son Zachary; her husband David Oldham of Winterset; her children, Courtney Rose (Rob) of Urbandale and Zach of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Lainey and Knox Rose; her brother Paul "Chip" Chesnut (Jeanne) of Osceola; her siblings-in-law, Susan Hollen of Waukee and Craig (Sally) of Johnston; and her pet Doobie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials may be made to the Madison County Historical Society.
