He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Billie Metheny and Lena Mae Metheny (Masching); his former life partner Debbie Oathoudt; his brother Sheldon Metheny; his brother-in-law Ron Kline; his wife Kathleen; his daughters, Hope Metheny and Stephanie Waters (Josh); his grandchildren, Maverick and Briar Waters; and his siblings, Sam Metheny (Linda), Sandy Paulsen (Steve), Cathie Alff, Judy Alff (Bruce), Jane Kline and Steve Metheny. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
