With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chad Ritland of Zearing, Iowa, born in Story City, Iowa, who passed away on January 23, 2021 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his uncle Irvin Ritland; and his aunt Jane Frohwein. He is survived by: his parents, Floyd Ritland (Doris) and Doris Ritland (Pfantz); his wife Veronica Hendrikson; his daughters, Elizabeth, Grace and Katelyn Ritland; his siblings, Nicolette Mackey, Shelley Friest (Greg), Perry Ritland (Judy) and Susan Beck (Blair); his parent-in-law Dean Hendrikson (Deb); and his brothers-in-law, Aaron Hendrikson and Jason Hackbart (Jody). He is also survived by many aunts and uncles; many nieces and nephews; and many close friends.
