He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Guerra and Ofelia Ramos; his wife Rise Guerra; and his sisters, Elia Martinez and Elisa Heck.
He is survived by: his children, James Guerra (Tiffany) of Pocatello, Tessa Verderber of Caldwell and David Guerra; and his siblings, Eli Guerra, Eliseo "Mick" Guerra, Elisandro "Hondo" Guerra, Elida Garcia (Fred) and Elizabeth Ewing (Jeff). He is also survived by six grandchildren.
