It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernie Parton (Boise, Idaho), born in Limon, Colorado, who passed away on May 25, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Kenneth Parton; and his sister Barbara Woodward. He is survived by: his former wife Nancy Jane Baldwin; his children, Brenda and Brad; his wife Cynthia Hope McKone; his children-in-law, Amelia Parton and Richard Klee; his stepchildren, Randy, Debbie McKone, Robin McKone, Rod, Anne Marie McKone, Melanie and Mark Mullins; and his siblings, Evelyn Skeen (Delmer), Ron Parton and Linda Dunn (Don).
Next, Bernie attended the University of South Carolina with a National Science Foundation Grant and attained his Master of Mathematics degree.
