She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Petersen (Petersen) and William Petersen; and her nephew Ryan Boone. She is survived by: her sisters, Kathy Korth (Bill) and Karen Boone; her stepfather Bob Walston; and her close friends, Cindy Upson and Carrie Sandirck. She is also survived by 4 nephews and 1 niece; and 4 great nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, Kim would have appreciated donations in her name to the Boise Humane Society.
