He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie L. Burbank and Geneil Burbank; his brothers, Reed and Craig Burbank; and his niece Kelli Hysell.

He is survived by: his wife Norma Goates; his daughter Paige Nikol (Jason); his grandson Payson; and his sister Ruth Allen. He is also survived by nephew and several nieces.
