She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor H. Saunders and Thelma H. Black Saunders; her sisters, Della, Juanita and Wilma; and her son Randy Traxtle.

She is survived by: her husband James Traxtle; her daughter Melody; her brother Harvey Saunders of Chubbuck, ID; and also Harvey. She is also survived by 6 granddaughters; 1 grandson; 4 great grandchildren.
