Richard John Kneidl Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard John Kneidl Jr. (Boise, Idaho), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2025 at the age of 103. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard John Kneidl Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard John Kneidl Sr. and Ethal Price Kneidl; and his wife Mary Margaret Shawhan. He is survived by: his children, Margaret McKee, Laura Kneidl, Richard G. Kneidl and Willard Kneidl. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery (10100 N Horseshoe Bend Rd, Boise, ID 83714). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the First United Presbyterian Church (400 Lake Lowell Ave, Nampa, ID 83686).
