He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Alexander Sater and Helen Beatrix Sater (Wentz). He is survived by : his former life partner Nancy Elizabeth Gildersleeve; his children, Jeff (Shanna) and Jo (Ann); his brother Dan; and his son Shane. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
