It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leland C. Baker (Burley, Idaho), who passed away on May 23, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leland C. Baker to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Baker and Afton Baker; his son Scott W Baker; and his brothers, Dennis and Loren.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Barlow Baker; his siblings, Larry Baker (Radean) of Rupert, Shirlene Andersen (LaMont), Duane Baker (Linda), Ronnie Baker (Mary) and Rell Baker (Sanie); his sister-in-law Janette Baker (late Loren) of Burley; his children, Brenda Mortensen (Mark) of Rupert, Carla Hennefer (Robert) of Carey, Monica Baker of Burley and Brad Baker (Lane) of Heyburn; and also Brad. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
All services will be held in accordance with state-mandated social distancing precautions to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Humanitarian fund.
