It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yoshie Matsumoto Fujii in Caldwell, Idaho, born in Middleton, Idaho, who passed away on February 22, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George; and her siblings, Tad, Jun Matsumoto, May Matsui (Harry) and Irene Yamada (Charles).
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Matsumori (James) and Doris Freebairn (Scott); and her grandchildren, Jessica Wagner (Dave), Dustin Matsumori (Bethany), Brittany Knighton (Brandon), Kathryn Hogan (Luke) and Alyson Freebairn. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Her most recent projects were sewing masks to protect her family from Covid-19 as well as helping to sew 300 masks for the Relief Society Humanitarian Project.
