It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeffrey Allen Deaton (Challis, Idaho), born in French Camp, California, who passed away on February 15, 2018, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Orville Deaton and Murlene Mae Deaton (Phillips); his stepfather Jack Holt; and his brothers, Michael John Deaton and Jackie Holt.

He is survived by : his friend Heavenly; his wife Penny Deaton of Challis; his sons, John Richard King of Susanville, Jason Allen Deaton of Port Arthur and Justin Paul Deaton of Reno; and his siblings, Cheri Senart (Ned) of Challis and Randy Deaton (Becky) of Groveland.
