With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Dehaas of Council, Idaho, born in Emmett, Idaho, who passed away on August 2, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Sheldon and Santa Sheldon. She is survived by : her husband Merle Arthur DeHaas; her children, Merle Jr. (Pat), Terry (Peggy), Timothy, Pat (Melissa) and Tim (Shannon); and her siblings, Terry, John and Judy. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Helen's memory to the Basque Museum and Cultural Center, 611 West Grove Street, Boise, Idaho 83702.
