She was loved and cherished by many people including : her siblings, Hermann and Berta Roesse; her husband Daniel Brehm; her daughters, Christine Ely (Craig) and Michelle Gant (David); and also, Ellie Gant, Calvin Gant, Adriana Ely and Thomas Ely.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Yates Funeral Home Hayden Chapel and Gathering Center (373 E Hayden Ave, Hayden, ID 83835). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Coeur D' Alene Memorial Gardens (7315 N Government Way, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814).

In lieu of flowers, Edith's family asks that a donation be made in her name to Hospice of North Idaho.
