He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Lee Toomer and Iretta Toomer-Nate (Roberts); his wife Mary Joyce Toomer (Lane); his siblings, Glen Arlin "Tip" Toomer, Alfred Jack Toomer, Roger Dee Toomer and Uleta Schrock (Toomer); his children, Roxanne Scott-Witt (Freeman), Brenda Lee Pratt (Freeman) and Douglas Jack Freeman; and his grandchildren, Douglas Owen Freeman and Gina Dorothy Ward (Pratt).
He is survived by: his children, Donald Blake Toomer (Clara) of Yucca Arizona and Susan Toomer-Halterman of Montpelier Idaho; his sisters, Janene Pugmire of Logan Utah and Cheryl Rhyne of Hesperia California; his child Liana Gutierrez (Freeman) of Pocatello Idaho; and his stepson Michael Melvin Rose (Tara). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
