He was predeceased by : his parents, Jim and Gertrude. He is survived by : his wife Martha; his daughter Katherine Yahvah (Matt) of Moscow; his grandchildren, Noah, Jolene and Loretta; his son Daniel Hunt (Brittany) of Moscow; and his siblings, Sam Hunt (Deb) of Mason City, IA and Harriet Fliss (Mike) of Spirit Lake, IA..

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church or the Hunt Family Beef Education Endowment at the University of Idaho.
