He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Richard Bosse and Martha Bosse; his wife Janice; his children, Julie Mueller (Lee), Jerry Bosse (Laura Granato), Jaqueline Newcomb (Luke) and Jami Gilbertson (Bryant); his siblings, Janice Peterson, Sharon Fletcher, Mike Bosse and Rick Bosse (Nancy); and his son Douglas.

Daniel J. Bosse, of Moscow, died Tuesday April 28, 2020, at Griman Medical Center in Moscow after a courageous 15 year battle with Parkinson's disease.
