She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur L. Tye and Gladys I. Campbell Tye; and her brother James (Robert D. Phillips). She is survived by : her brother Charles; her child Suzie; her granddaughter Angela; her children, Suzanne L. Tracy (Larry), Jay D. Phillips (Cindy), Mitzi C. Hansen (Doug) and Angela K. Coates (Michael); and her grandchildren, Kathryn Tracy Stucker, Christina Tracy Prentice, Sarah Phillips, Tyler Phillips, Charles Hansen (Chad), Jenessa Hansen-Evans, Tasha Coates Carrick, Robert Coates and Christopher Coates.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations to: Boise Art Museum (boiseartmuseum.org) or, The Idaho Anne Frank Memorial (annefrankmemorial.org) in Boise be made in Virginia's name.
