He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Dominga, Rodolfo Bernal and Jesse Salas; his grandparents, Arunlfo Gutierrez Sr. and Julia; his uncle William A. Simpson; his aunts, Maria D. Cortez and Nina Ybarra; and his cousin Isaac Bernal.
He is survived by: his parents, Lucinda Bernal (Jesus Ignacio Gutierrez) and Jesus I. Gutierrez (Lydia); his sisters, Annalise Bernal Gutierrez (Emmanuel) and Annabelle Bernal Gutierrez (Joaquin); his niece Baby Cinda; his brother Ezavier Bernal Gutierrez; his grandparents, Patricia Salas and Juan Bernal Sr.; and his great-grandparent Mary Ybarra. He is also survived by step-brothers and step-sisters, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
