He was predeceased by: his brother Bryan. He is survived by: his sisters, Jodie Arendt (Brad) and Kendra Taylor (Don); and his siblings' children, Stephen Irish (Topacio), Jason Perkins (Danae), Travis Perkins (Kelsi), Aaron Henderson (Katrina), Kaylee Humphries (Chad), Bailey Arendt, Kaitlyn Arendt, Jessica Badten (Connor) and Victoria Taylor. He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, and a circle of endless best friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crooked (1882 E King Rd, Kuna, ID 83634).
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages small acts of kindness in Matt's honor—because that's how he lived: Making the world a little lighter, one heart at a time, no matter the roadblocks he faced.
