He was predeceased by : his parents, Elbert Heinecke and Mary Heinecke (Harding); his wife Sharon L. O'Keefe; his sons, John A. Heinecke and Timothy Stevens; and his siblings, Bill, Grant Fuller, Bob, Jack Heinecke, Mildred Belger, Joy Hooper and Elberta Schultz.
He is survived by : his former life partner Pat Stickens; his children, Jeffery Heinecke of Kensal, Dr. Joseph Heinecke of Grand Junction, Gary Stevens of Smiths Station, James Reynolds of Clifton, Sara Heinecke of Orofino, Becky Heinecke of Estes Park, Trishia Hill of Grand Junction, Heather Heinecke of Fruitvale and Tammy Caipen of Andrews, Texas; and his siblings, Melvin Heinecke of Fruita, Margie Price of Grand Junction and Wilda of Salem, Oregon. He is also survived by 37 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; many nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends.
