He is survived by: his children, Hayley Patterson (Jason), Blake Merrill (Joyce), Marci Jensen (Nick), Whit Merrill (Keren) and Clint Merrill; and his siblings, Louis Merrill (Karen), Phyllis Johnson (Larry), Stanley Merrill (Margret), Lamont Merrill (Denise) and Cristeen Kinghorn (Scott). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
